Paige is now 4 weeks old (33 weeks corrected). She continues to make progress. She is up to 1 pound 8 ounces, and is still doing well breathing with help just from the high flow canula, which is pretty much unheard of for a baby her size. She passed her meconium plugs, but is still having some issues with distension in her belly. It is a common preemie issue, and will hopefully get better soon. She is getting milk now, and the amount gets increased every day while her IV nutrition decreases. Hope to be on full milk feeds soon. I was finally able to hold her on Thursday, and again today. I like to think that she enjoyed it as much as I did. Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks as well as a video from today.
